Set it down,
 one page at a time.

Most journals hand you a blank page and wish you luck. This one comes with a guide who's lived every prompt, a video lesson for each, and a community writing beside you — for grief, heartbreak, or any season asking more than you have left to give.

Why Most Journals Don't Stick

If you've tried to journal and it didn't last — a few days, maybe a week or two, or it never brought any relief — that wasn't a failure on your part. A blank page and good intentions only go so far. What's usually missing is someone to walk you through it.

That's what Healing Through Writing adds. Every prompt is taught on video by a writer who has lived these prompts himself, with different angles into each one — so you're writing your way through what you're carrying, not retelling the same story. And you're not doing it alone: a community of people on their own healing journeys writes alongside you.

This isn't therapy, and it's not a quick fix. No pressure to have the right words. No audience but yourself.

A Word From Jack

About the Author

I'm J. Raymond, but you can call me Jack — poet, writing coach, and author of Spades, Let Her Run, The Kindred Project, and The First Ten. Long before any of that, I was just someone who needed somewhere to put down what I was carrying.

Writing had been with me since childhood, but it truly caught and carried me after I lost my father. It caught me again through recovery, through heartbreak, through years I don't always talk about out loud. Healing Through Writing is everything I wish someone had handed me on my hardest days — not a fix, just a place to start. I hope it does the same for you.

You don't have to have the right words. You just have to start.
